Mary Yarbrough, MD, MPH
DirectorDr. Yarbrough earned an M.D. from Vanderbilt and an MPH from Johns Hopkins. She completed residencies at Vanderbilt (Internal Medicine) and Johns Hopkins (Preventive Medicine and Public Health)) and is boarded in Internal Medicine, General Preventive Medicine and Public Health, and Occupational Medicine. She is an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine at Vanderbilt. She is the Executive Director of Vanderbilt’s Faculty/Staff Health and Wellness Programs, which includes the Occupational Health Clinic; the Child and Family Centers; Work/Life Connections--EAP, including the Faculty/Physician Wellness and Nurse Wellness Programs; and Health Plus, Vanderbilt’s health promotion program.

Stacey Kendrick, M.S.,ACE
Coordinator of Health PromotionStacey earned her Master's Degree in Health Promotion from UNC-Charlotte and her undergraduate degree from The Rochester Institute of Technology. She is a Certified Personal Trainer and has received special training in wellness coaching and motivational interviewing. Stacey's background includes experience at the YMCA, the Dayani Center, and as a Health Educator for Health Plus. Her responsibilities include directing marketing and communications efforts, editing the Connection newsletter, and creating/delivering health education programming for Health Plus and the other areas of Faculty/Staff Health and Wellness.

Willow Black
Administrative Assistant IIWillow is the Administrative Assistant to Dr. Mary Yarbrough and Paula McGown. She also serves as an administrative liaison for all areas in Health & Wellness. She has worked at Vanderbilt since 1999.

Paula McGown, RN, CFNP, CPA, PHR
Administrative OfficerPaula earned a BSN and a MSN from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing and a Master of Accountancy from the Massey School of Business at Belmont University. She has been ANCC certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 1990 and is licensed as an RN and a CPA in the State of Tennessee. Paula is responsible for health and productivity management, budgetary oversight and position management for the departments comprising Health & Wellness. Additionally, she coordinates activities related to the development and implementation of Health & Wellness Information Systems.

DeMoyne Culpepper
Computer Systems Analyst IIDeMoyne is a Master’s prepared Registered Nurse in Informatics/Health Care Management from Vanderbilt. She has a very diverse professional background in Nursing, Sales and Human Resources Recruiting. She acts as technology consultant and Informatics specialist for Health and Wellness. DeMoyne is involved in database administration, system analysis, technology development and training for several Health and Wellness applications. She works with the Health and Wellness team and departments to design, create, monitor, and make enhancements and upgrades to software systems. DeMoyne is also on the team that manages the Health & Wellness Information Systems.

Glen Harness
IT CoordinatorGlen came to Vanderbilt in 1990 and to Health & Wellness in 2008. Most of his prior experience with Vanderbilt was in Patient Accounting as Programmer/Analyst and Network Manager. Later, he was a desktop support technician in the Department of Finance. Glen acts as a technology liasion for the four departments that comprise Health and Wellness, and is the team leader for the department's podcast and internet presence. He also assists with database development and QA evaluations.
