About Us

Faculty/Staff Express Care is provided by the Occupational Health Clinic as a benefit for Vanderbilt faculty and staff. A Vanderbilt ID is required.

We are able to treat minor acute illnesses on a walk-in basis. Patients are seen first come, first served so there may be a wait depending on the number of people already signed in.

Express Care is not a substitute for a Primary Care Provider (PCP). We encourage all Vanderbilt employees to have their own primary care provider to provide preventive and ongoing care. To find a Primary Care Provider, call 343-VUMD (8863), or sign up for My Health at Vanderbilt (MHAV) and request a PCP through the MHAV portal.

As a patient in Faculty/Staff Express Care, you will be responsible to pay for any medications or tests that have to be sent to the lab. There is no charge to be seen by the provider.

New Summer Hours:  Beginning April 29, 2013, the Faculty/Staff Express Care Clinic is open 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon excluding Vanderbilt holidays.  Our regular hours will resume July 1, 2013.  Acute Care services will still be available by appointment in the main Occupational Health Clinic 12 noon until 2:00 p.m.
