Measles (Rubeola)

VUMC faculty and staff born after 1956 are required to be vaccinated against measles unless they have laboratory-proven immunity to measles.

MRI Screening Questionnaire

Employees who work in close proximity to MRI magnets are screened to identify any metal implants, fragments or devices that could be adversely affected by the magnet.

New Employee Screening

The new employee evaluation is performed by OHC as part of It's Who We Are orientation. This evaluation ensures that all faculty/staff who are working in the Medical Center have the appropriate immunizations and screening tests to comply with VUMC policy for their safety.

Off-site VMG Clinic Immunization Policy

Occupational Health has a online TB skin test administration log for off-site clinics. All new hires should attend It's Who We Are and participate in the health screening provided there.

TB Skin Tests are provided to VUMC employees free of charge. We offer many locations for your convenience.

TB Skin Testing Class

Occupational Health offers a TB testing class which trains departmental representatives to place, read and record skin tests.

Traffic and Parking Medical Screening

In compliance with state and federal laws, Vanderbilt requires all Shuttle and Vandy Van drivers to have a commercial driver's license (CDL) as well as undergo a Commercial Driver's Medical Examiner's certificate, which can be obtained through the Occupational Health Clinic.
