Go for the Gold Impact: Danny McKissack, Grounds Maintenance
Danny McKissack serves as a Facility & Service Grounds Manager in the Grounds Maintenance Department.
Danny has been working at Vanderbilt for 35 years. He encourages and supports the staff in his department with completing their Go for the Gold every year. "At first, I started doing Go for the Gold as a way to get an exercise routine going. Now, a healthy lifestyle is a must. I encourage others to do Go for the Gold for the education and for the health incentive."
Interested in setting a wellness goal in 2014? Health Plus provides wellness coaching to faculty and staff at no cost. The purpose of wellness coaching is to support Vanderbilt University faculty and staff who are interested in losing weight, getting physically active, quitting smoking or other wellness goals.
